Yes... So far, so good is the best way to define the first 25 days of January 2022.
First of all, Judy and I not dead. A lot of people are, most of whom should not be dead or even damaged from the COVID virus and its variants. All they had to do was follow the science and take the $%#@ shots. And yes, some would still have died anyway because people die 'normal deaths' whether they have COVID or not. As a result, of the "No Mask/No Vac" believers, the rest of the world has to try harder to live in an environment of higher-risk that is greatly increases both the length time and the amount of exposure to those who refuse to participate in an organized effort to deal with the pandemic. So much for common sense.
Second... My glaucoma problem is finally getting under control. I'm able to read a book for the first time in a year. But I'm still uncomfortable with driving. No use taking chances now that full recovery is so close. Thanks to COVID I don't need or want to go anywhere anyway. And Judy can drive locally when we need to go somewhere.
Meanwhile we stay home.
A friend from my home town asked if I would write some articles for the local weekly newspaper about growing up in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. I said yes and I'm glad I did. I've thoroughly enjoyed stepping back in time to re-live my life from long ago.
Sometimes fate opens new doors to explore and to enjoy.
Update... I woke to a nice welcome from my scale on January 29th showing a 15 pound loss using the Keto Diet. So far so good there too.
